Twombly Performance Horses 2008 Spring Sale

The Twombly Performance Horse Sale was held April 20, 2008 at the Torrington, Wyo.,
Fairgrounds. This was their 12th annual spring sale. Despite downward economic conditions the
sale had its highest overall average ever. The customers buy with confidence making the Twombly
sale one of the most reputable gelding sales today. They offer color, conformation, disposition and
a great ride. The TwomblyÕs make their living riding horses and their geldings are trained at the
ranch by their family. They tell their clients exactly what the horses are and how they ride. Many
of the horses were used for team roping, trail riding and ranch riding. A family from Utah, Nick
Jessen and Stephanie Christensen, were volume buyers purchasing five Twombly geldings.

The high seller was Lot 55, Dun Its Gold Dandy, a six-year-old dun gelding. Selling for a final bid
of $22,000, he was sold by the Twomblys and purchased by, McCollum of Texas. This is a
breathtaking grandson of Hollywood Dun It that Ropes both ends.

The second high seller was Lot 70, Ikes Fritz Two, a five-year- old, beautiful buckskin gelding.
An own son of Ikes Double Drift, consigned by the Twomblys, he sold to Westman, of Minnesota
for $18,000. John roped both ends on this fancy gelding.

The third high seller was Lot 31, Poco Blakburn Butter, a four-year-old, gorgeous palomino gelding.
Sold by Alies Twombly to Christensen of Utah for $13,000, this is a gentle, great trail horse.

Alies Twombly consigned Lot 60A, RW Kiowa Poco Dell, a five-year-old buttermilk buckskin
gelding. This horse ropes both ends and sold for $12,000 to Christensen, of Utah.

Twomblys sold Lot 106, the last horse in the sale, to Wood, of Georgia for $12,000. Zip Sun
Commander is a four-year-old, dun gelding. Dan says this is a big time prospect. Fancy, fancy gelding.

Lot 45, Sun Frosted Effort, a four-year-old buckskin gelding was sold for $10,000 to George, of
Texas. A grandson of Frenchmans Guy, this beautiful horse ropes both ends. He was sold by Twomblys.

Lot 50, Hobos Dunin Black, a three-year-old, grullo gelding was sold for $9,750 to Jessen, of Utah
and consigned by Twomblys. Tia was roping both ends on this gorgeous gelding that is very gentle.

Selling for $9,250 was Lot 6; consigned by Lazy L Quarter Horses, Inc. of Colorado, and selling to
Williams of Wyoming. SNW Northern Frost is a six-year-old dun stallion grandson of Sun Frost.
He has an AQHA ROM in open dally team roping.

Dale and Julie Atkinson of Colorado sold Lot 37 for $8,500 to Marton, of Wyoming. Spirit Sun
Dancer, a nine-year-old bay gelding has won over $10,000 in NCHA earnings. He is super pretty
and really broke.

Gomes of HAWAII purchased LOT 71 from Alies Twombly for $8,000. Two Dun Redeemed, a
6 year old Gray Gelding. Beautiful, well broke and ropes both ends. He will catch everyone's eyes
on the big island.

LOT 89 was consigned by Gary Grokett of Colorado and sold for $7,500 to Bauman of NORTH
DAKOTA. Docslookingforchicks, an 11 year old Red Dun Gelding is gentle for anyone to ride.
Gary knows how to make a good rope horse.

Selling for $7,250 was LOT 51, Sky, a grade, 7 year old Palomino Gelding. Consigned by Alies
Twombly and selling to Brett, of WYOMING. Stands 16.1 hands and gentle, gentle. Heading steers.

John Twombly sold LOT 49 for $7,000 to Diane Steele of WYOMING. Jaybirds Bueno Guy, a
3 year old Dun Gelding is super gentle and kind. One of the most gentle 3 year olds around. Diane loves
him and says she will keep this one.

Alies Twombly sold LOT 41 for $7,000 to Dauner of KANSAS. Cee Kay Boston Image, is a 5 year
old Red Roan Gelding. Super nice ranch and rope horse. Mrs. Dauner made the trip to Wyoming by
herself and is real glad she did. She loves this horse and is using him on the ranch.

Tia Twombly sold LOT 25 for $6,750 to Jessen of UTAH. Robetys Back Cinch is a 4 year old
Palomino Gelding and was one of TiaÕs favorite. Standing only 14 hands and shaped like a block,
this gelding can rope and has a neat personality.

LOT 40 sold for $6,600 to Rader of TEXAS. Twomblys sold DB Docs Smooth Pine, an 8 year old
dark Buckskin Gelding. Super nice head horse and could heel, too.

LOT 30 sold for $6,500 to Christensen of UTAH. Twomblys sold Bunny Little Lad, a 5 year old
Dun Gelding. Tia loved to ride and rope on this horse. Super kind personality.

Twomblys sold Lot 20 for $6,250, Wata Blue Cowboy, a 5 year old Blue Roan Paint Gelding to Sanders
of NEBRASKA. Stands 16.1 hands and an eye stopper. This horse will make a super nice rope horse.

Lot 1 sold for $6,000 to Gardiner, of COLORADO. Sold by Twomblys, Tomvia The Barber, is a 4 year
old Dun Gelding. Tracking cattle and rides real nice.

Paul Fornstrom of Wyoming sold LOT 29 for $6,000 to Sutter of COLORADO. SHS Nevada Drifter, a
4 year old Chestnut Gelding was trained by Clinton Anderson. Head, heel and tie down calves.

Angela Elg of Nebraska sold LOT 108 for $6,000 to Rader of TEXAS. Gotta Glow, a 12 year old Sorrel
Gelding.
